John and Irma Daniels Named 2012 Parents of the Year by COA Youth & Family Centers

June 27, 2012 - PRLog -- MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Chairman John W. Daniels, Jr. and his wife Irma Daniels were named 2012 Parents of the Year by COA Youth and Family Centers. In addition, Bud Selig, ninth Commissioner of Baseball, and his wife, Sue Selig, were also named. Since 1982, COA has honored outstanding Parents of the Year. The Parents of the Year award is given to couples who represent the highest standards of corporate excellence, parental dedication, and demonstrate qualities of leadership, community service, commitment to family, and an outstanding commitment to Milwaukee's future generations. They were honored at the 2012 Parents of the Year luncheon on June 26 in Milwaukee. "Throughout Irma's career as a teacher, and in my avocational role as an advocate for education, we have had the limitless pleasure of devoting our lives to children – both ours and the entire community's," says Daniels. "We are thoroughly pleased to be honored by COA for that, but playing even a small part in the success of any child has been the greatest reward of all."
