June 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Wells Fargo’s Community Partners Giving Program is an annual program where each of its retail banking stores explores the needs of their local communities and selects a non-profit or school to receive a $1,000 grant. This year, Wells Fargo will award more than $600,000 in grants to nonprofits and schools throughout Florida.

The Michael Gaines Foundation will use the grant with general operating expenses. In it’s first year of launching, the foundation embraces youth and their value by providing hands-on experiences to promote positive growth, creativeness, achievement and learning key components to find success. Through the efforts of the foundation and the assistance of charitable contributors, we can unite and make a significance difference in our community.
“We are honored to be recognized by our local friends at Wells Fargo”, said TK Sanders, Executive Director of the Michael Gaines Foundation. “Building partnerships is the key for long term success in the community”.

“At Wells Fargo, we are committed to supporting programs and organizations that we believe are important to the future of our community’s vitality and success,” said Denise Kestel, store manager at the Park Shore branch of Wells Fargo. “So we are proud to support The Michael Gaines Foundation with this grant.”
