June 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Winchendon, MA  –  Eric Bostrom and Cook Neilson spent the day with scores of  Ducatisti at Ducati Revs New England.  Monday's  event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was a huge success as the group of northeast motorcycle enthusiasts ignored the early rain to get the most out of their track day training experience.

The students were treated to a special lunch time stunt rider performance, exclusive interviews with Ducati legend, Cook Neilson and AMA superbike star, Eric Bostrom as well as receiving individual information from Ducati Technical Trainer, Bruce Myers.

“It was great seeing Cook Neilson and Eric Bostrom interacting with students and their candid lunch time interviews were perfect,” commented Jason Routhier, Ducati North America Northeast Business Manager. “The enthusiasm of attendees was apparent as they took advantage of the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with our special guests. “

The Ducati Revs track day school event is supported by Ducati North America as well as northeast Ducati dealers who participated in the event alongside their customers.    The remainder of Penguin Roadracing School’s 2012 schedule can be found at: http://www.penguinracing.com/pages/4_school_schedule.cfm. Founded in 1973 by Jerry Wood and Joe Ziegler, the Penguin Racing School based in Winchendon, MA, is the nation’s first and longest running motorcycle training school. The school was key in helping transform roadracing safety as the sport grew in the 1970’s. The first Penguin School manual “Learn to Fly” provided riders with a game plan for a complete understanding of roadracing rules and safety procedures as well as a solid path to improve their skills.  The school grew under the leadership of Jerry Wood and their first advanced class instructor, factory rider, John Bettencourt.  John was succeeded by the famous US Superbike privateer, Dale Quarterley. Currently, under the leadership of Eric Wood, son of founder Jerry Wood, the school has expanded from its base operation at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to include schools in New Jersey and Florida. Utilizing advanced training materials, with the industry’s best team of lead instructors, the school trains thousands street riders and racers in basic and advanced skills.
