-- NEW YORK -- June 21, 2012 -- Kalpesh Wireless, which is building a series of mobile applications targeting the Indian and US market, has raised $1.2 million from Mumbai-based Vardhan Group, a leading real estate developer.
The company said it will use the funding to expand its Indian engineering operations to launch applications focused on mobile social networks.
imeshpoint, the company's first product, is a wifi hotspot platform that lets businesses brand, configure, and manage wifi networks for mobile devices. Installations include city-wide deployments in Kigali, Rwanda and well as in New Braunfels, Texas.
Future mobile application offerings will include isocialpoint, a novel way to connect qfxwm with new people. Also under development is iloyalpoint, an innovative solution to track, reward, and bring back customers more often.
