Follow on Google News | “Mission Possible” Cake Decorating Challenge to benefit the MS SocietyA cake decorating contest to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to be held in Northwest Florida on Sunday July 29, 2012.
Showcase your creativity and cake decorating skills at this annual event to benefit to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition there will be demonstrations, vendors, door prizes and a bake sale. Winners in each category will be chosen by a guest panel of celebrity judges and awarded prizes. There will also be a people’s choice winner for each category. “Mission Possible” is the inspiration for this show. Our mission is to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, and your mission is to use this theme to inspire your design. Carrie Knife of Mary Esther, FL is a veteran team captain for Walk MS and a long time supporter of the MS Movement. Her mother lost her very courageous 20-year battle with MS in September of 2007. Carrie also has an aunt, cousins and many friends fighting MS. This year’s MS Challenge Walk in Cape Cod, MA begins on her Mother’s birthday and ends the day before the 5th anniversary of her death. The walk takes place over 3-days and 50 miles of Cape Cod coastline. All proceeds of the cake challenge benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and all entry fees are tax deductible.
