Star Power Helps Stop Domestic Violence
H'W'D Celebs Party With The Public. Happy Hour With The Stars® takes over LA.
A local public benefit corporation (Hollywood Helpers, Inc.) has created a novel approach to tackling America’s pesky problem of domestic violence.

Instead of waiting for women to suffer physical/mental trauma, the program offers would-be abusers “Time Out” facilities replete with everything the modern man cave affords.
“Men want to do the right thing,” says Nurse Busch. “Where do men go when faced with sudden domestic confrontation?
In order to raise funding for their flagship facility in Santa Monica, the group is sponsoring “Happy Hour With The Stars!®”. Famous celebrities (handled by veteran Casting Director – Valerie McCaffrey) are lined up to appear all summer long in LA and Orange County.
“Our weekly LA venue is the sexy LA night spot – THE JOINT,” continues Busch. Everyone is excited! Photo ops, personal interaction, and more. Great drinks, terrific food – this is going to be LA’s hottest summer! I’m amazed at the generosity of the stars. When the [Hollywood] community pulls together, we really can affect societal change.”
The first Happy Hour is July 26, 2012 from 4-8pm at The Joint – located at 8771 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035. Club booking manager Francesca Capasso recognized the importance of the cause. She immediately recommended her club (The Joint) as a summer long partner.
