June 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Publisher Dorothy Mercer speaks with Julius Thompson, an award winning author about his trilogy of books and his career as a writer. That interview is currently being featured on Talk Story TV.

Julius Thompson grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York and attended Bushwick High School. The sixties in Brooklyn was an era that had a personality, a feel, and a life-force that changed a generation. Mr. Thompson felt this energy and experienced these fires of social change. Many of those fires of social change are reflected in his books. After high school, Mr. Thompson spent the next four years riding the "A" train to Harlem, in upper Manhattan, to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the City College of New York. At CCNY, literature instructors like Professor Thomas Tashiro, fueled the fire in him to become a writer.

Thompson talks about his career both as a writer and a teacher of writing. Thompson teaches English in high school and creative writing on the college level.  Thompson says he has guided five different authors through publication of their books. See his interview at TalkStoryTV.com
