Coco LaBon Publishes Online Newspaper
Coco LaBon, author of The Legend of the Chocolate River, announces the debut of her online newspaper, Coco LaBon’s Express News.
Coco LaBon’s Express News is published twice a day, posting a morning and an evening edition, and will cover issues for children, parents, teachers, and those in the animated film industry. Information on children's books and book events will also be covered. This free, online newspaper will also feature the latest news regarding children’s nutritional issues.
Coco LaBon’s first book, The Legend of the Chocolate River, is an adventure story about Manda, a baby elephant, and Mr. Crowley, a wise, old frog. Every day, Mr. Crowley rides on Manda’s back as they travel through the jungle. One day, Manda decides to go on a journey to find the Chocolate River, and the reluctant Mr. Crowley goes along for the ride to steer Manda along the dangerous path. This is a great adventure book for children ages 5-9.
The Legend of the Chocolate River is available for purchase on several retail websites including Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. Coco LaBon lives and works in the Washington, DC area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She also has a professional certificate in 3-D animation from George Washington University.
