Vanilla Fire's Until They Are Home Private Premiere for POW/MIA on East Coast

Vanilla Fire's Steven C. Barber takes Until They Are Home to Arlington, Virginia for a private East coast premiere for 500 families of POW/MIA and causes Senators Max Baucus and Pat Roberts to take action.

June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Award winning Director Steven C. Barber screened his film Until They Are Home at the recent 43rd Annual POW/MIA families league in mid June at the Crystal City Hilton in Arlington, Virginia. Senator Max Baucus agreed to sponsor the film at the US Capitol on National POW/MIA Recognition Day on September 21, 2012, after a meeting with Mr. Barber at the The U.S. National World War II Memorial following the screening.

This gripping new film narrated by five-time Emmy Award winning Kelsey Grammer follows JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command) though the process, vigorous efforts and  monumental task to repatriate the 88,000 MIA's from WWII. Until They Are Home features an original song by Clint Black.

Mr. Barber along with Executive Producer Tim Shelton were on hand for this private east coast screening. JPAC's General Stephen Tom along with other senior members of JPAC enjoyed this presentation, as they had on Memorial Day at the Los Angeles Directors Guild of America.

Mr. Barber had spoken to several senators including Montana Sen. Max Baucus about a Capitol screening in the 400 person theatre in the Capitol Building. Until They Are Home is currently making an Oscar run for 2012.

Also joining the Oscar race will be the legendary Clint Black for his original song for the film "She Won't Let Go" which premiered on Good Morning America on Memorial Day.

Vanilla Fire's previous Oscar Shortlisted film Unbeaten has made a huge difference in the disabled community and Dan Aykroyd jumped on board for this Oscar shortlisted
spectacular, which can now be seen on GAIAM TV and will be featured in TIME magazine July 2012.
