The popular online art gallery is presenting its new Fall Artist Collection Catalog, which showcases the retailer’s robust line of hand painted fine art reproductions, on the new platform. The new catalog can now be accessed as part of the Google Catalogs application for iPad and Android tablets and online.

Google Catalogs is a free app for tablet devices that allows users to shop a diverse group of catalogs in one place and interact with new layers of rich-media content. The Google Catalogs app features digital versions of catalogs across many popular categories, including fashion and apparel, beauty, jewelry, home, kids and gifts.

overstockArt.com’s Fall Artist Collection Catalog features more than 300 hand painted oil painting reproductions divided into Artist Collections, as well as a selection of hand painted and hand carved ceramic art tiles. The catalog is highly interactive allowing users to zoom in to the art, view product descriptions and more images of the product by clicking on the "tag" link on each painting. It is a full catalog with full color and links to all of the products featured.

overstockArt.com has traditionally created one print catalog a year, the online retailer will now be updating the catalog four times throughout the year. “Using a digital catalog gives us an opportunity to create more seasonal versions of our catalog without the expense and waste of creating numerous print catalogs,” stated Sasson. “It also allows our catalogs to be more current and up-to-date with our selection, which allows our customers to see the new products as soon as we start carrying them.”
