ParetoLogic Awarded for Community and Charity Accomplishments

June 18, 2012 - PRLog -- ParetoLogic has been named the winner of the 2012 Community Engagement Award by the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA). For almost 20 years, the Technology Impact Awards have been celebrating BC companies and people that distinguish British Columbia. The Community Engagement Award recognizes a company in the tech sector committed to community involvement and growth.  

“I would like to extend my congratulations to the individuals at ParetoLogic for their ongoing and exceptional work in their community,” said BCTIA President and CEO Bill Tam. “They are an inspiration and a reminder of the good that a business can achieve when its members unite for a common goal.”

The team behind ParetoLogic has been active members of their community since the company was founded in 2004. Emphasis is particularly placed on charity work, local and international. Recent years saw ParetoLogic raise funds for the Big Bike for Heart and Stroke, and Power to Be Adventure Therapy.  ParetoLogic donated over ten thousand dollars to both charities, the highest in the Victoria fundraising drives. Other worthy charities include World Vision, Cops for Cancer, Santas Anonymous, and most recently Save the Children.

Elton Pereira, ParetoLogic’s Co-Founder and Chairman, made note of ParetoLogic’s other efforts.  “In addition to charity work, we strive to help people on an individual level as well. This can mean speaking with university and high school students, participating in mentorship programs, and giving our staff the flexibility to give their time to others. This is all part of creating a corporate culture that encourages giving and sharing with our community.”
