Stellar Blue Launches Mobile Website for Riverview Gardens

June 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Riverview Gardens sought out its current web provider, Stellar Blue Web Design, to help launch its first mobile website allowing mobile users ability to view the organization’s site content on smaller mobile screens automatically. Riverview Gardens wanted to give its community easily accessibly information and current news about the organization anywhere on the go.  Stellar Blue designed a scaled down version of its main website, featuring tabs, such as “Get Involved” and “FAQs” with specific information.

“By 2014, more consumers will access the Internet through a mobile device instead of a desktop,” said Ben Benesh, Lead Mobile and Web Developer. “Because of the exponential growth of mobile devices, we are very excited for Riverview Gardens to initiate its mobile marketing efforts.”

Riverview Garden’s mobile homepage presents clickable tabs highlighting each section on its main site so users can effortlessly navigate through content on their phones. A “Location” tab features a satellite view of Riverview Garden’s locations and a “News” tab features the latest Riverview updates, some with YouTube videos. Users can easily contact Riverview Gardens by phone or email directly from the mobile website and even comment on news stories.

Riverview Gardens engages Fox Valley residents in community stewardship of a market garden enterprise, park space, and job-training program. The organization utilizes community greenspace to cultivate and market locally-grown produce to help fight the root causes of poverty, homelessness and unemployment in our community.
