Northeast Ohio’s Plain Dealer Recognizes Cedar Brook as a Best Employer

June 18, 2012 - PRLog -- The Plain Dealer, Ohio’s largest newspaper, picked Cedar Brook Financial Partners, LLC  (www.cedarbrookfinancial.com) for the second year in a row, as a top place to work.  The Plain Dealer’s list of Top Workplaces 2012 is the result of thousands of employee surveys and months of analysis.  Over 4,000 companies, nonprofits, and government agencies in 11 counties were eligible to participate if they employed at least 50 people in Northeast Ohio.  In total, 46,465 people were surveyed both online and on paper at 237 employers.  One hundred companies were selected for this annual award.

The study is based entirely on employees’ feelings about their companies.  Employees were asked to indicate, on a seven-point scale, how much they agreed with statements such as “I believe this company is going in the right direction” and “My pay is fair for the work I do”.
