Project LAAW - College Book Award

Project LAAW announced its first College Book Award for 2012.
June 17, 2012 - PRLog -- New York & New Jersey, June 1st 2012: Project LAAW announces its first College Book Award.   This award is to benefit a recently graduated African American high school student, who has been accepted to an accredited college/university.  Only 43% of African Americans who enter college, graduate.

Project LAAW would like to assist in the cost of attending college with the College Book Award.  Project LAAW will host various fundraisers thought-out the summer and present the award in August, 2012.  Our goal is to raise $500.

Project LAAW was founded in 2012, with the mission of empowering African American women to have a healthy balance of professional & personal life.  Project LAAW offer four  empowering programs allowing women to achieve this balance.  Project LAAW host friendship building, volunteer, networking, entrepreneur workshops, & empowerment events for the community.
