Robert Rey Appointed to New Jersey Bankers Board of Directors

Englewood, NJ, June 6, 2012- Members of The New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBA) have selected Robert Rey to serve on its Board of Directors to fill a two year term.
He serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board member of NVE Bank, Englewood, NJ.
Mr. Rey joined NVE Bank in 1998 and has served in the capacities of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer before being named President in January, 2011. Prior to joining NVE Bank, Mr. Rey held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mellon Bank, F.S.B. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Microbiology and has received his Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University. Mr. Rey has also completed the Wharton School of Business Leadership Development Program.
Mr. Rey also serves as a Trustee at the Bergen Performing Arts Center and was recently elected to the Bergen Community College Foundation Board of Trustees.
The New Jersey Bankers Association is a trade association representing 120 banks and over 230 service providers within the state of New Jersey. The Association provides a variety of services to members, including government relations at both the state and national levels; education and professional development and community development services.
