June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Creature Comforts NZ – a Wellington-based In-home Pet Service provider - recently re-branded their company in an effort to grow their brand awareness and exposure to the local pet care market, and become the leading provider in the Wellington region.

Creature Comforts has been in business for over 10 years providing personal pet feeding and care services to pet owners’ in the Wellington and Hutt Valley area.  They have established a very strong clientele list by catering to the pet care sector with a highly valuable and distinct Unique Selling Position – their entire team consists of highly qualified and experienced Vet Nurses.

Byndie Maxwell, owner and qualified Vet Nurse, says that the move to re-brand her company came about for two main reasons: firstly, because of their goal to make Creature Comforts NZ a household name and recognizable brand in the local Wellington pet service market, and secondly, because of the huge increase in business the company has experienced.

“For years my business had been coasting along, with me being content to provide Creature Comforts services on a part-time basis.  Our name slowly spread around – partly by our clients, partly through the clinics we were working in – without any marketing or advertising on our part.  Eventually the time came that we were just too big to continue providing our services part-time.  As a result, we’ve needed to rethink our objectives and develop a new business plan” says Maxwell.

Ms Maxwell says their decision to develop Creature Comforts NZ as the leading brand in the Wellington pet feeding and pet care sector has come about as a result of the company’s growth, as well as their re-planning and re-structuring.  “It’s always been a thought of mine to make Creature Comforts a household name, but wasn’t a major priority.  Now that the company has expanded to where we are today, it’s imperative that we focus on our brand awareness and exposure, and making ourselves available to as many pet owners’ as possible.”

Creature Comforts NZ has invested in digital marketing solutions as well as conventional marketing and advertising methods to promote their company and brand.  “By utilizing a mix of conventional marketing and advertising, and digital marketing methods, we’re confident we can rapidly increase our brand awareness and continue to grow and strengthen our business and position in our local market.”

“Our goal is that when pet owners are planning on being away from home, they immediately think of Creature Comforts NZ.  We want to provide them with an option to receive high value service from qualified, experienced and trusted medical professionals to take care of their beloved pets. And we want them to think of US first” states Ms Maxwell.

She concludes saying; “we pride ourselves on providing our clients with a level of service unmatched by any other provider in our area.  Yes there are some companies that have stronger brand awareness than we do, but with our level of experience, our qualifications, our passion for animal welfare and our renewed focus and direction, we are confident that we can continue to increase and strengthen our position and brand awareness, and continue to deliver a truly exceptional service and make a strong impact on our local market.”
