Southern California Saints... Are Marching Boldly!

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- So. Cal Saints pride themselves on integrity and character and this is exhibited on and off of the field.
They wear the colors of BLACK and VEGAS GOLD proudly and represent the organization BOLDLY...

This organization gives young men a positive outlet to pursue their passion and love for the sport, it also grants them the opportunity to belong to something great and to reach back into the community to give back to those less fortunate. The players and coaches can relate and some of them were that same young man struggling to beat the odds and won. "We have a purpose... there are individuals watching your every direction on a daily basis and if you can be a positive role model showing them that there are other things to belong to other than the streets and/or crime, then why not start today!" says Andrionna L. Williams the Owner of the Saints.

The team practices and plays their home games in the City of Compton, California where the streets are mean and plagued with drugs and violence and when asked why Andrionna chose Compton she said, "The streets are mean everywhere you go and even the most eloquent neighborhoods have their share of problems, some worse than Compton.  But to answer your question WE were chosen for Compton to come in and to help make a difference by showing our youth there is a way out and so much more to live for. We are there to be that driving force that helps to produce future writers, players, Executives, and owners etc."

The Saints are actively involved in the community and just don't want to be known as the Semi Pro Football team in Compton, but an asset and a positive memory!  
The Saints are gearing up for many wonderful projects one that will include the California Disease Control and the Magic Johnson Foundation.  Be on the look out for larger projects from them including helping the elderly to visiting various schools in the Compton area.  

Andrionna along with players have teamed up with the faculty of Compton High School for the Fall school year to help tutor the high school players to keep them eligible to play a successful season and she will be working with the students interested in writing as well as stage plays and film productions.
And rumor has it that she may even be teaching a few classes at Compton City College... we will keep you informed! (shhhh)
"I am elated and can not wait to speak and work hand in hand with these young men and women I have been super blessed with talents,skills, and the means to bless others, I would be less than a woman if I did not share them; and who knows what I do and/or say may change someone or even spark something in them so phenomenal that it will light up the world... and I want to see it happen!" she adds while smiling.

This is admirable because Andrionna lives in Las Vegas, NV and she doesn't mind traveling to Compton to make this happen not to mention, while speaking with her I could feel the energy and excitement she radiated about the partnership.
The Saints are well on their way making a joyful noise and helping to shed more light onto an already bright situation.  
Can you hear those SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SAINTS marching?  Well, you don't have to listen hard cause they can be heard from miles away!
