June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Petrol is getting more expensive by the minute and global resources of this “black gold” are getting thinner, and the executive news editor at inautonews.com, Cristian Gnaticov, is saying that while every major automaker is producing hybrid or electric vehicles, the future of motoring is actually hydrogen powered cars.

“Look at it this way, hybrid cars are burning petrol, electric cars are using electricity which we all know where it comes from, and let’s not forget that it takes a few hours to charge an electric car in a regular socket. Hydrogen can be used as car fuel and Honda has already proven that it works and the costs of filling up a tank with liquid hydrogen are the same as filling it up with petrol or diesel. The only difference is that hydrogen is the most spread gas in the Universe, the only trick is to separate it from other elements because hydrogen isn’t found in pure form”, said Cristian Gnaticov.

The inautonews.com executive editor thinks that by using hydrogen we can save petrol to use it in weekends in our sports cars or supercars which, and during weekdays, we can go back to our hydrogen powered vehicles.

“Separating hydrogen from other elements isn’t trickier than extracting oil from our seas and oceans and we’ve done a pretty good job at that. Look at it this way, cars which are now expensive and burn a lot of petrol will be great to use a couple of hours on Sundays and they will eventually become similar to the horse which, 100 years ago, was used on hard labor and today is being used more as a hobby”.

Oil price continues to rise worldwide and in May, the barrel was set at $93,98 in New York, which was actually a positive situation because that’s the lowest price since December, 2011. Geopolitical tensions over Iran’s suspected nuclear program, along with riots throughout the Middle East and Africa, will lead to an even higher gas price at the pump and, eventually, there won’t be any oil left to extract and the biggest economic, political, financial and social crisis will begin.
