Vocalist Jerry Costanzo To Perform at Perry Como 100th Birthday Concert
Mark your entertainment calendar, as vocalist and popular song stylist Jerry Costanzo will perform on Sunday, July 22, at Hofstra University to celebrate the 100th birthday of music legend Perry Como.
The concert “Til The End Of Time” ~ Perry Como at 100 ~ will be held at The John Cranford Adams Playhouse, on the South campus of Hofstra University, on Saturday, July 21, 8pm, and Sunday, July 22, at 2pm.

As one of six guest vocalists, Jerry Costanzo will be performing with The Big Apple Big Band, who is debuting at this world premiere event.
His show set will begin on Sunday, July 22, at 2 pm. Mr. Costanzo’s nice and easy vocal style compliments the iconic style of Perry Como and his vast song repertoire.
Mr. Costanzo will celebrate Mr. Como's birthday by singing a variety of his tunes, most notably Prisoner Of Love, I Concentrate On You, and Without A Song.
Perry Como consistently delivered a distinctive, warm, smooth, easy listening style and approach to all of his songs. He had 13 number #1 hit songs, with the first being “Till The End of Time”. His records sold more than 100 million copies in the six decades of his illustrious singing career. He remained humble, and always projected a wholesome nice guy image that appealed to audiences worldwide.
Commenting on the relaxing effect Perry Como’s music has on people, Dean Martin once joked that he "used to go over to Perry's to borrow a cup of sleep".
