BEM and Surry Community College Win Six Hermes Awards for Marketing Excellence

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- In collaboration with Surry County Community College, BEM, an industry leader in interactive design and development, strategic online marketing, and powerful information technology solutions, has won six Hermes Awards for marketing excellence.

Surry Community College’s Creating Success publication received two Platinum Awards, the highest award granted in the competition, for its cover design and graphic advertising design for the Sustainability Technologies Program. In addition, the publication received four other awards, including a Gold Award for overall publication design. Creating Success is a publication developed for Surry and Yadkin county households to provide up-to-date information about corporate and continuing education.

Hermes Creative Awards recognize creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. The awards are administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).

Surry County Community College’s marketing efforts are a collaborative effort between the college and BEM. Founded in 1964, Surry Community College is located in Dobson, NC, and offers twenty-seven degree programs, sixteen diploma programs and twenty-two certificate programs.
