Veteran Game Designer Stephen Jarrett Joins Arkadium as Vice President of Game Design

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Arkadium (http://www.arkadium.com; twitter.com/Arkadium), a top game development studio, today announced that Stephen Jarrett has joined the company as vice president of Game Design.  Bringing over 15 years of game design experience working with Pixar, Sony, Disney and Nickelodeon, Stephen will be responsible for overseeing game design for all of the company’s platforms.  Arkadium also announced that it added eight new employees to its studios in New York City, Toronto and Ukraine, bringing the company’s headcount to more than 130 employees.

Prior to his role at Arkadium, Stephen was the Director of Game Design at Nickelodeon where he led design and creative direction on a number of titles in Nickelodeon’s Digital Media division.  Before Nickelodeon, Stephen worked in creative positions designing games for Disney, THQ and Namco.  In these roles he created new experiences, worlds and characters through compelling game-play across a variety of platforms from console to online to mobile.
