June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The Sleeter Group will host the Ninth Annual Accounting Solutions Conference, October 22-24, at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, CA. More than 700 consultants and accountants will gather for three days of education, networking, inspiration, and of course, the latest in accounting and technology innovations.

The 2012 Accounting Solutions Conference has a continuing mission: To arm accountants and consultants serving the small- to medium-sized business market with the critical skills and tools necessary to be successful and achieve greater levels of collaboration with their clients. At this year’s conference, accounting professionals, bookkeepers, and consultants will learn about a broad range of new, disruptive innovations that are changing business models for the accounting world and providing dramatic improvements for how small businesses operate, communicate, and manage their customer relationships.

Attendees will learn about compelling new opportunities for their practice and for their clients. They will learn dozens of new client-service and collaboration opportunities that have never been possible before. We'll show not just what is possible, but how to turn these new-world solutions into reality. And most importantly, we'll show them how to turn their firm into one that clients desperately want. That is, a firm that helps them create success, not just deal with transactions and compliance. By the end of the conference, we'll show them how to become not only the most trusted, but also the most indispensable advisor.

Connecting the Pieces in a Fragmented World

There is an emerging trend we call the “Chunkification” of the business process that involves splitting up the traditional all-in-one accounting systems into several chunks that streamline smaller parts of the overall business system. Another trend that is sure to change the role of the bookkeeper as well as the tax preparer is the trend towards “zero-entry.” A whole genre of products and services are emerging to eliminate the data entry process by pulling “data feeds” from banks and other “chunks” in the business systems. These trends of Chunkification and zero entry bring many advantages for HOW we do things, but they also challenge us to acquire new skills in evaluating technologies; planning how and when we adopt new processes; and how we connect the chunks together.

Building Success by Being More Efficient, Productive and Collaborative

This is a one-of-a-kind conference that delivers essential information, insight, and experiences for accounting professionals to bring back to the office to improve productivity and profitability. A key focus for the Conference this year is helping firms achieve greater collaboration with their clients by aligning the right solutions with optimized workflows to achieve greater efficiencies.

“When it comes to delivering business process solutions, The Sleeter Group’s Accoutering Solutions Conference truly stands above the rest by working with the most innovative companies and thought leaders who are connecting the pieces between accounting systems, mobile devices and cloud-based solutions,” Sleeter added. “Attendees have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, see in-depth presentations of the best solutions and optimized workflows and clearly understand how these connected technologies truly add value.”
