-- Bare Bottom Sandals debuted earlier this year at the January Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida with their trendy new footwear accessories. Nobody could have anticipated their immediate success, and they are already available in 6 countries worldwide. Due to the instant popularity of their products, they are ready to launch their summer line at the June SMOTA show in Miami, Florida. “Adding new styles and colors while giving new customers incentives to buy,” Erica Trousdale of Bare Bottom Sandals says, “should make this our best show yet.”
This summer they have expanded their line to include 2 hot new summer colors: green and orange. In addition to that, the South Florida based company is featuring a blue jasper and puka shelled sandal as their featured item in the shoe industry’s premier trade-show. The excitement behind their new styles shows as the Bare Bottom Sandal team is busy getting ready for their upcoming events.
The company was created by one woman and one dream: To affect people’s lives in a positive way. Every style that their designer Leslie Keheley creates has a positive energy and/or message for the universe, and therefore she feels that she is able to touch people’s lives all around the world 2 feet at a time!
Each pair of sandals is made with a combination of semi-precious stones, crystals, and/or shells which are brought together with high-grade stretch cording to allow for comfort and convenience. The “sandal” itself wraps around the ankle and continues down over the top-side of one’s foot, securing itself around the second toe.
These unique 'sandals' are designed to be worn both with and without shoes, making it easy to accessorize every outfit. While this new summer line had the beach-goer in mind, they are quickly finding Bare Bottom Sandals on yachts, cruise ships, boardwalks and in nightclubs alike. "I expected this product to take off, but we are learning of new applications for our sandals everyday! I love it when I see people around town wearing our products and telling me how many compliments that they get while wearing them," says Leslie.
Look for this company to be on shelves of surf shops and vacation boutiques everywhere before the end of this year.
