EOCP partnered with GreenThumb to offer the service as a benefit to EOCP partners at http://www.EOCPartnership.com. GreenThumb GIS (Geographic Information System) is a proprietary economic analysis and marketing strategy tool which integrates updated business and economic data with specialized mapping tools and user inputs.
"EOCP is pleased to be among the first economic development organizations in the country to partner with GreenThumb GIS to offer analysis tools to our business community," said EOCP Executive Director Tim Hight. "This relationship gives EOCP partners access to analytical tools to learn more about their local customers and competitors in order to strengthen their business."
GreenThumb's Sales Director Chad Stamper said, "We partnered with EOCP because they understand the benefits of geographic information systems and economic gardening. They also understand the need for a powerful tool that is intuitive and cost effective. EOCP's partners are able to utilize leading GIS technology to better understand their region's assets and help them make better decisions in shaping their business's and their community's future."
