Interactive Ideas appointed NetFort distributor for the UK & Ireland
Interactive Ideas today announced that it has been appointed Distributor by NetFort for the UK & Ireland. NetFort is a provider of a range of software products that monitor activity on virtual and physical networks.
NetFort was established in 2002, with headquarters in Galway, Ireland and offices in Canada, Australia and Romania. NetFort has built a global customer base in enterprise, education, and Government sectors, and is now looking to expand business within the UK market.
Mike Trup, Managing Director at Interactive Ideas, commented “We are delighted to be partnering with NetFort to assist them and their reseller channel in gaining new customers. Through our long standing partnership with SolarWinds, we have seen the huge growth and demand for easy to use monitoring products.”
“Internet and internal network usage, and the associated bandwidth issues, are factors affecting organisations of all sizes. Most companies have little idea of why or who is causing the issues. With NetFort LANGuardian, companies can now identify the problem areas and take action to ensure a consistent service is maintained. With SolarWinds integration, organisations have a single pane of glass to monitor devices, activity and users in detail from one dashboard.
“For networking resellers, adding NetFort to their solution enables them to offer total network visibility monitoring devices and network usage, allowing them to revisit existing customers and build new revenue.”
John Brosnan, NetFort CEO commented “We are delighted to begin our partnership with Interactive Ideas. With their reach, sales experience, and technical expertise, they are the obvious choice to help us expand our customer base. This partnership presents an exciting opportunity for both companies. We look forward to working with Interactive Ideas to introduce a new generation of customers to the power and simplicity of traffic-based network monitoring.”
NetFort LANGuardian is software that analyses your network traffic. Using advanced deep packet inspection techniques, LANGuardian gives you a unique level of visibility into everything that's happening across your network, not just at the edge – including user activity, bandwidth, file and database access monitoring, and security.
NetFort offers integration between LANGuardian and SolarWinds Network Performance Montior (NPM). LANGuardian complements SolarWinds NPM and extends its capability by generating traffic and user activity reports that can integrate seamlessly into SolarWinds dashboards. By displaying traffic-based data from LANGuardian side-by-side with its own device- based data, NPM provides a single point of access to all the information a network engineer needs to monitor and troubleshoot a network.
