Hupy and Abraham, S.C. Honored With 2012 Top Workplace Award

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN - The Milwaukee-based law firm Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has been recognized by its employees and by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a 2012 Top Workplace in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Each year, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel asks employees throughout Southeastern Wisconsin to rate the companies they work for. Workplace Dynamics, an independent firm, conducted confidential surveys of more than 64,000 local workers. Employees ranked the companies based on seven factors, including "My pay is fair for the work I do" and "I have many opportunities to learn and grow at this organization." Employee responses were then used to choose the “Top Workplaces” in the area. Hupy and Abraham, S.C. ranked among the best for their commitment to their employees and for their emphasis on being known as an employer of choice.

Employees were also given a chance to comment on their companies. Comments about Hupy and Abraham included:
•   “Positive work environment, great owners, generosity, and notoriety.”
•   “They do what's right for the clients.”
•   “Genuine concern for clients and the public.”

This year, 118 companies and organizations were recognized. These employers included the top 23 large companies (500 or more employees in the region), top 39 midsize companies (150-499 employees in the region), and top 56 small companies (149 or fewer employees in the region).

On May 18, the award winning companies were honored at a breakfast hosted by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel at Milwaukee’s Italian Community Center. Governor Scott Walker opened the event.
