SpamEmailNews - The place to find out if it is Spam or Not!

July 21, 2012 - PRLog -- On 08/31/2011 we created SpamEmailNews.com with the simple idea to warn people about e-mail spam, and other harmful e-mail.
During this period we started with a WordPress website. And updated the website later to a forum. The disadvantage from a forum was soon there. A lot of people start to send spam to the forum, so we finally blocked registration complete. Then we created a blog on blogger.com, and pointed our domain name to it.

So we recreated our website, as it is now on http://www.spamemailnews.com

As you can see we created a simple setup where people can comment on the articles that are there. Most of the articles are there to tell that e-mail that they can receive are not what they look to be.
For example. On Thursday, July 19, 2012 we warn about a e-mail with a attached file in it, that shows a login screen from the ING. (A bank in the Netherlands)

This is just one of the examples. Most of the time we also tell the website owner that his website is hacked. But sometimes that is not possible, because there is NO contact information. Then we just place a warning on our website.

In this way we hope to help a little against spam.
