Net America Wins Business Woman of the Year Award

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Bowie, MD June 1, 2012  - Clare Hines, CEO of the Net.America Corporation, has been awarded ‘Business Woman of the Year’ by Prince Georges County Chamber of Commerce in Maryland.

Ms Hines received the prestigious award at the 2012 Excellence in Business Awards Gala on June 1, 2012 at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center at the University of Maryland University College.  

Ms Hines, who is a Bowie, MD resident, was accompanied by her Net America team, business partners and family.

The Prince George's County EDC, along with County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III, FSC First, and the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the success and achievements of Prince George's County businesses, legislators and individuals that support the economic development of the community. The 2012 Excellence in Business Awards Gala was jointly sponsored by The Prince George's County EDC, FSC First, and The Prince George's Chamber of Commerce.

EDC President/CEO Gwen McCall said, " It is a great opportunity to honor the achievements, talents and contributions of all the awardees to this wonderful county."
County Executive Baker presented his State of the Economy Address, and reminded attendees that Prince George's County is definitely the destination for business.

This premier black tie gala is a stellar event designed to celebrate the achievements of business in Prince Georges county and featured County Executive Rushern Baker III as the keynote speaker, Angela Stribling of BET as a celebrity host, live entertainment, dancing, and networking with over 400 key business leaders.
