Blackstone Automation Announces New Patent Covering Shox-Box Rowing Machine Suspension
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a new patent to Blackstone Automation covering the Shox-Box rowing machine suspension design.
Some of the benefits and advantages of adding the Shox-Box suspension to the rowing machine are: (1.) A significant reduction in axial compression of the lower back, thereby reducing back pain and trauma at the finish. (2.) A significant reduction in shear and tensile stresses on the knees, shoulders, and neck, thereby reducing pain in these key areas at the catch. (3.) A more realistic on-water feel to an Erg at the finish and/or the catch positions. (4.) And in addition to building fitness, the increased on-water feel enhances the Erg experience by causing the rower to focus on improving rowing technique.
The Shox-Box products will be demonstrated at the USRowing Club National Championships (Camden, NJ) July 11-15 and the USRowing Masters Nationals (Worcester, MA) August 9-12.
For a limited time, Blackstone Automation is offering FREE shipping on any Shox-Box puchase over $50. For more details, please visit http://www.shoxbox.biz
