Academy of Design’s Bachelor of Interior Design Program is now Recognized by ARIDO

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- On May 29, 2012, the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) recognizes the Bachelor of Interior Design program at Academy of Design at RCC Institute of Technology. The school is the only Canadian institution to offer a recognized Interior Design program that can be completed online, in-class or in any combination of online or in-class delivery.

Recognition of the program is significant to all students and graduates of the program. All students who successfully complete the degree will now be accepted into ARIDO and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) as intern members, and do not have to undergo separate review processes other than providing two original copies of their transcript. Membership is vital for students who are studying towards becoming a professional  Interior Designer.

Becoming an intern member of ARIDO is a critical step on the path to becoming an Interior Designer and allows students to gain the required work experience to write the NCIDQ examination. ARIDO-recognized programs are a clear pathway towards the highly converted and valuable professional designation of “Interior Designer”.
