Peak Adventure Tours makes a record of succeeding through Roopkund trek

Roopkund is a glacier lake which is also being recognized as skeleton lake in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand and is famous for the tough routes and severe hailstorms. A picturesque touring destination in the Himalayas which is located near the base of two Himalayan peaks namely Trishul and Nandghungti, covered with ice throughout the year and thus makes a tough trek route for the explorers.

This bewildered trip is not only exciting and audacious, but have made more simplified and directed by the team of Peak Adventure Tour. Although this trip is being continued through different routes but the students were taken by the expert guides and other team members through Lohajung or Wan by road to the Ran ki Dhar. The presence of numerous skeletons and dead fossils have created a sense of fear among the travelers and so very little trekkers dare to embark into this “lonely planet”. However, the team of Peak Adventure Tours converted this tough expedition into a more interesting and rewarding  event with their experienced guiding. Under their strict supervision the students enjoyed the sight of mountain ranges all around their ways, appreciated the climate and the beauty of the surrounding peaks from Bedni Bugyal Bridge which were higher than 5000 feet.  The extreme slopes of the surrounding mountains are racked with waterfalls and landslides that served a great ease to the students to lessen the burden of hard trekking experience.
