Mold Testing in Homes Utilizing Advanced DNA Testing Techniques

The amount and type of mold people are exposed to can result in different outcomes depending on the individual’s sensitivity, allergies and the health of their immune system. Molds are naturally all around us, but should not be found in elevated levels in indoor environments.
To help address homes with elevated levels of mold, the EPA developed the Environmental Relative Moldiness Index (ERMI). EMSL Analytical, a leading mold testing laboratory, was one of the first commercial laboratories to offer this service to the public.
