Green T Lawn Care Donates Services to Humanitarian Service Project

June 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Green T Services’ lawn care division has donated their services to the Humanitarian Service Project in Carol Stream.  The Humanitarian Service Project (HSP) was started in 1979 by Karole and Floyd Kettering to help needy DuPage County families in the Christmas season and has since expanded to include a handful of programs to benefit senior citizens and needy families with young children.  Green T has donated their lawn care services at HSP’s compound in Carol Stream as recognition of their amazing work in our community and to keep up the appearance of their property.
   The Humanitarian Service Project continues its mission to help out poverty-stricken senior citizens and families with young children.  HSP receives donations in the form of toys, non-perishable food, sponsorships, and individual and corporate monetary contributions while some companies, such as Green T Lawn Care, donate their services to help HSP’s cause.  They also have volunteers help out with the programs.  The programs created by HSP include the Senior Citizen Project, Children’s Birthday Project, Feed the Kids, School Supply Drive, and the Christmas Offering.  The Senior Citizen Project is a program in which needy senior citizens with little or no family ties have food and other necessities delivered to them monthly.  The Children’s Birthday Project and School Supply Drive are geared specifically to children to provide them with a birthday package on their birthdays and necessary school supplies.  The Feed the Kids program and the Christmas Offering benefit impoverished families by providing food during the summer and food and Christmas gifts respectively.  Green T is happy to donate their services to an organization dedicated to helping out local impoverished families and senior citizens.
   As a locally owned business, Green T is dedicated to making a presence in the community that we proudly serve.  Green T emphasizes excellent customer service and personalized treatment of every customer to make sure that we are meeting all individual needs.  As a member of this community, we are happy to recognize HSP for their efforts in alleviating the pain and hardships caused by poverty for families and seniors.  Green T Lawn Care serviced HSP’s property with our fertilization and weed control applications to help the appearance of their compound.  We hope that the improved appearance of their property attracts more volunteers to help support HSP’s mission.
