-- (Bloomfield Hills, MI)---ComForcare has been ranked in the top 10 percent of all franchises nationwide and named a 2012 Military Friendly Franchise® by G.I. Jobs magazine.
The private-duty, non-medical home care provider currently has four veteran-owned franchises in its system, which consists of more than 145 senior care service franchisees who operate over 165 territories in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
The company honors military veterans year round by offering service members a 10 percent discount off its initial $39,500 franchise fee, allowing veterans to use their training and operational skills in a new civilian career. ComForcare is also a member of VetFran, an initiative by the International Franchise Association to offer financial incentives, training and mentoring to veterans interested in owning a small business or franchise.
“We are honored to have a military presence at ComForcare Senior Services,” said Phil LeBlanc, ComForcare Vice President of Franchise Development. “Veteran John Ikirt has been with us for years, adding valuable talent and strong leadership to our Dayton, Ohio location and we are proud to announce that in the last three months we have added new veteran franchisees Dave and Lisa Morbeck of West Bend, Wisconsin; Rob Paul of Toms River, New Jersey and Daniel Surkin of Langhorne, Pennsylvania to the ComForcare family. Veterans make excellent franchise owners and we are always looking to add them to our growing system.”
Director for G.I. Jobs Sean Collins said: “The Military Friendly Franchises® list was created three years ago out of demand from military veterans, many of whom want to start or own their own business but are unclear where to begin. Being selected as a Military Friendly Franchise places ComForcare in this elite group, and is testimony to ComForcare’s world class programs and policies that support military veterans interested franchise opportunities.”
