After recently celebrating 50 years in the electrical industry, Cooper Electric continues their growth in the market, making electrical supplies and services more and more convenient to their customers. The Morristown Branch opened in early January, and is fully stocked with industry leading products. Cooper’ Customers, vendors, and employees joined in celebrating the grand opening of the new branch. Along with celebrating the new branch opening, Cooper also promoted Energy Savings Week by partnering with the best of their energy solutions vendors to present customers the most advanced energy efficient products and services available today. The industry leading manufactures present included: Square D, Sylvania, Lutron, Klein Tools, Hadco, Kitchler, New Horizon Lighting, Hubbel, Pass& Seymour, Hoffman, 3M, Halo, NuTone, RAB Lighting, Wiremold, QMark, Raco, Kidde, Ideal, Philips Advance, Lenox, Lithonia Lighting, Simkar, Cully, Lightalarms, FLIR, Ilsco, Bridgeport, Caddy, Southwire, Maxis, BRK, Kohler Generators, TCP, Greenlee, Intermatic, Panasonic, and Milwaukee. All vendors showcased products and services that are new to the market. Milwaukee let customers get hands on with all of their power tools by displaying their latest drills, and allowing customers to test out their products. Tons of prizes were raffled off to customers, compliments of Cooper Electric, such as: a DVD Home Theatre System, Golf Basket, Traveling Kit, and American Express Gift Card. Vendors, such as Lenox, 3M, and Lutron, also gave away special prizes to selected customers. 3M and Ford also partnered up to display and auction off a brand new 2012 Ford F-150. As part of the day’s events, Cooper Electric provided a pig roast and a variety of other food and beverages for all attendees. Special guests included Tim Dougherty, Morristown’s Mayor, who joined Brian Dudek, Branch Manager of Morristown, and Michael Dudas, President of Cooper Electric, in the ribbon cutting ceremony. Brian Dudek, Morristown Branch Manager, reminisces about the day in stating, “Overall, I feel the Grand Opening was a huge success, there were a ton of customers who came out to support us.
