Sylvain Allaire elected President of the Francophone chamber of commerce of Halifax

June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- HR pros is pleased to announce that Sylvain Allaire, vice president – Sales and Marketing, has been elected president of the Francophone Chamber of Commerce of Halifax at the Annual General Meeting of the Francophone Chamber of Commerce of Halifax on Saturday, 2nd June 2012.

Sylvain has been associated with the Francophone Chamber of Commerce of Halifax since it was founded in 2005.  He served on the executive committee as secretary and he has been the vice president since 2010.  Sylvain has a long history of community work.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of Soccer Nova Scotia and on the Board of Soccer Nova Scotia Training Center.  He was a Director for Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia until 2011.  In his address to the members, Allaire mentioned:  “I want to create greater links with other chambers in the region and increase our visibility in the community.”
