Holiday Harbor Marina presents JuneFest 2012

Acworth, Ga.-Holiday Harbor Marina is hosting JuneFest 2012 on Saturday, June 16, on Lake Allatoona from noon to 8 p.m. to benefit The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

JuneFest is an annual benefit concert that originally started out as a Customer Appreciation Day for the marina’s tenants. It has now become a must attend, public charity fundraiser with food, music, family fun, and beverages.

“I bring my family out every year. It’s fun for kids and adults. We love the awesome food, great music, and the energy from the crowd. It’s always a good time and it’s for a great cause. We love supporting the MS Society.” said Tara Anderson, Bookkeeper at the Holiday Harbor Marina.

This year’s annual benefit concert headliners are Atlanta’s local Sol Junky and Iambic Underground. Sol Junky is a band known for their high-energy live performances and creativity on stage. Iambic Underground is a coverband that blows away audiences singing the hits of the musical greats. These bands are sure to put out some great sounds for attendees to enjoy.

Food will be provided from Pitbulls “Up in Smoke,” a professional barbecue team that competes in the Kansas City Barbecue Society and has won numerous barbecue competitions across the country. Cold beverages will be at the event helping the JuneFest participants stay hydrated.
