-- Los Angeles – This summer Cravatt Productions is coming to major cities across the southern United States from Los Angeles to Jacksonville, Florida searching for the next big reality star. Marguerite Cravatt, MA is a seasoned professional with 25 years experience as a Hollywood Casting Director and New Media Producer. When asked what she looks for when casting a reality personality, she states, “We look for people who have larger than life personalities, people who are uninhibited, people who live a unique or unusual life, and people willing to share their life with the world.”
Two years ago, Cravatt Productions began making a documentary on the BP Oil Spill while it was gushing oil into the Gulf. This summer, she will also shoot a two year follow up as an ending to the documentary, and Cravatt Productions will also be shooting their own reality show about people who collect scrap metal and turn it in for cash.
While searching for unique personalities for her own productions, Cravatt Productions is also casting for several other Los Angeles Casting Directors and Production Companies. Paula Major of Major Films, an Independent Producer claims that, “Having Cravatt Productions casting in the field is a huge benefit because it saves us the time and money of doing it ourselves. Cravatt Productions is already out their searching, so all we have to do is go to their site, click on, and watch all the interviews and auditions we want – for free, and if we find someone we want to talk to, they will make the connection for us. It’s very convenient.”
