The Groqit Pro - A new approach to mobile barcode computers.

June 1, 2012 - PRLog -- As shipped, the Groqit Pro contains a complete, mobile inventory system. Data is stored in flat text files on a 2 GB USB flash drive. This is more storage than any other mobile computer on the market and it is easily accessed. Not only can the Groqit Pro read and search its inventory files for items using barcodes, you can also build files using part numbers or names and search them.

There are no proprietary cables, data formats or encryption. No data cradle, no RS232 converter. No external charger; it recharges directly from a USB port. (It can use an external USB charger as well.)

It uses an EM1300 CCD scanner that can read linear barcodes at distances up to 500 mm (20"). It has hi-impact polycarbonate covers over the screen and scanner for maximum durability.

The Groqit Pro features true one-handed operation. Not one hand to hold and one access the functions. The light weight (68 gm/2.5 oz, not much larger than a box of mints) and compact form factor reduces fatigue.

It is not limited to Inventory Management

If your customers require time clock, attendance or venue management, time-stamping of records or badge verification, our free Menu Builder allows you to create a custom application in just a few minutes. The re-programming extends to the start-up screen, so your company can put their name on the product.  A 1.6KB file controls the app and this file can be copied to any number of devices.
