Still Time To Nominate For Smart Business 2012 Pittsburgh Pacesetters

Honorees to be recognized at St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference Sept. 17
 
June 1, 2012 - PRLog -- GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), May 24, 2012 – Smart Business Pittsburgh, a magazine offering insight, advice and strategy to business people, is seeking nominations for its 2012 Pittsburgh Pacesetters awards.  The honorees will be recognized at the 26th annual St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference on Monday, Sept. 17 at The Washington Place at St. Barnabas, 5847 Meridian Road.  The free conference, following the theme “Show Me the Money: The Big Business of Sports,” and awards program are open to area CEOs and their seconds-in-command.

Pacesetters will be recognized in three divisions based on the size of their organizations and/or rate of growth:
•   Emerging – Organizations with less than $10 million in annual revenue and a double-digit annual growth rate over the past three years
•   Mid-market – Organizations with between $10 million and $99 million in annual revenue
•   Centurion – Organizations with annual revenue in excess of $100 million

Approximately 12 individuals will be named Pacesetters – up to four in each of three categories.  All will be profiled in the October 2012 edition of Smart Business Pittsburgh.  In addition, the “best story” in each of the three categories will be announced at the St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference.  To be eligible for a Pacesetters Award, the leader’s organization must have a physical presence in the Greater Pittsburgh region and the leader, him or herself, must be located in the Greater Pittsburgh region.  

Pacesetter nominations may be made by the nominee’s organization itself or by an individual or organization familiar with the nominee.  The nomination form is available for download at www.stbaranbashealthsystem.com or by contacting Jessica Hanna of Smart Business at jhanna@sbnonline.com.  Nominations are due by Friday, June 8.

The St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference will take place at the Kean Theatre in The Washington Place at St. Barnabas, 5847 Meridian Road.  The day’s activities will begin with registration and a light breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by the half-day conference at 8 a.m.  At the conclusion of the conference, Smart Business Pittsburgh will present its annual Pacesetters awards recognizing business leaders who are setting the pace for the region.  A complimentary luncheon will follow in The
