We follow an ancient route that takes us through farm villages, across valleys, past breathtaking waterfalls, and through the high mountains and historic monasteries. The views grow even more spectacular as we venture up the Dudh Kosi River to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu region. We spend a night next to the western valley of Thame, a popular village for famous climbers, enjoying the monastery, wildlife, and beautiful Himalayan scenery close-up before trekking on to the hidden villages of Khunde and Khumjung. The trail leads us to the Tengboche monastery, where you will be rewarded with spectacular, 360-degree views of Ama Dablam, Mount Everest & Lhotse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Tawache, Khumbila, and Kwandge along with the magnificent Tyangboche Monastery. The route follows the Imaj Valley to Dingboche and up to the unbelievable viewpoints of Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp with return to Lukla via the Phortse village.  This is a journey not to be missed.
