All Aboard! Sundial Group Announces Summer of Love Tour

June 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Sundial Group has announced plans for a fun-filled ‘Summer of Love’ tour which will see the meetings specialists taking to the open road in a vintage 1960’s double-decker dubbed ‘The Chudbus’.  

The historic routemaster is symbolic of Sundial Group’s family values and pre-dates the purchase of Northamptonshire conference hotel, Highgate House by Michael and Diana Chudley in 1964. It was purchased by the founders of Sundial Group as the only feasible way to transport a family of 11. This summer it goes back on the road to visit booking agents the length and breadth of the UK.

Sundial Venues are renowned for offering a flexible and effective approach to meetings and events and the Summer of Love Tour is designed to take this message mobile.

Tim Chudley, managing director of the award-winning UK meeting venues firm explains, “The Summer of Love was a social phenomenon that took place during the summer of 1967. Synonymous with hippies, they converged to create a melting pot of music, freedom and creative expression. It was a defining moment of the 1960’s.”

Demonstrating that Sundial Group really does go the extra mile, the bright red ChudBus will be serving up a host of seasonal treats. Highgate House head chef and current Chef of the Year, Lee Gaskins has developed a Summer of Love menu which offers a freshly cooked lunchtime meal made up of nourishing and delicious ingredients, all served up in the bus’ dining area for booking agents.

The bus tour will give agents a greater insight into Sundial’s meeting venues and services, including its green meetings packages and the rewards scheme for agents.
