His opponent, Luis “El Shogun” Bio is the WBC Muay Thai Champion, training out of The Boxing Club-Team Greatness in San Diego, has been busy. Bio is undefeated since winning the WBC title in Cancun in 2010, including his most recent stoppage of one of Mexico’s top fighters, Erik Mejia in a second round TKO in Mexico City on May 12, remaining the reigning WBC Muay Thai Mexican Middleweight Champion. The headline co-main event is a North vs South epic…pitting the hard charging fan favorite and IKF Champion TJ Arcangel of San Francisco (14-1) defending his World Super Lightweight Title against Alfred Khashakyan, of Team Armenia (10-1) Glendale, CA in a 5 round event. Both fighters always leave it all in the ring…explaining why both are fan favorites. Only one will walk away as champion. Still, the evening showcase is “Muay Thai Xtreme - Beach Bash 1” – a single elimination tournament in search of America’s “Best in the West” in the126 weight class – the first step in a national competition to crown America’s world-class fighters in the search to achieve their dream ---- as part of a new TV reality show.
