Follow on Google News | MIT Nuclear Energy Expert Richard K. Lester to Keynote at SimWorld International 2012Noted nuclear scientist, author and educator Richard K. Lester of MIT will headline a prestigious panel of expert speakers at SimWorld International 2012, November 13-14 in Dubai.

He is also the founding director of MIT’s Industrial Performance Center. Dr. Lester’s research focuses on innovation management and policy, with an emphasis on the energy and manufacturing sectors. His latest book is Unlocking Energy Innovation: How America Can Build a Low-Cost, Low-Carbon Energy System (MIT Press, 2012). Dr. Lester obtained his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Imperial College (London) and a doctorate in nuclear engineering from MIT. He has been a member of the MIT faculty since 1979.
