The golf tournament is a major fundraising effort for the Sheetz Family Charities and benefits “For the Kidz,” the company’s Christmas program for underprivileged children. Started in 1992, “For The Kidz” was the first charity established by the Altoona, Pa.-based company. That year, Sheetz worked with the Altoona area Salvation Army to brighten Christmas for 12 deserving children. Today, hundreds of Sheetz employees across six states work with their local Salvation Army chapters to identify children who may need some help to have any Christmas at all. This year, more than 6,200 children are expected to benefit from the money raised from this tournament. "The For the Kidz program is a wonderful charity that has enriched the lives of countless children. We were thrilled to play a role in this year's event and excited to see the record level of fundraising," Containment Solutions is the largest American fiberglass tank manufacturer. The company promotes sustainable fluid management and environmentally conscious product design. For additional information contact David Heiman at 936-756-7731 or email at dheiman@csiproducts.com.
