Chicago, May 29, 2012 - Brickton Montessori School is offering a FREE  Introduction to Montessori for children ages 2-5. During this class, your child will engage in purposeful activities such as washing windows, sorting items by color or shape, cutting with scissors, wet and dry pouring, grinding coffee beans, and washing dishes. Your child will amaze you with focus, skill, and independence as he or she works on everyday tasks. Through exploration, these tasks nurture the development of motor skills and problem-solving abilities, while engaging the child's curiosity.

Founded in 1986, Brickton Montessori School draws students from the Northwest side of Chicago and surrounding suburbs including Park Ridge, Norridge, Niles and Harwood Heights. It is conveniently located near the Kennedy Expressway at Cumberland and serves 130 children ages 2-14. Before and after school care is available from 6:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. year-round.
