The Rising Star Group Welcomes Rising Chicago Rapper Yung Gwapa as New Client!

June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA - The Rising Star Group presents Chicago's rising rap artist, Yung Gwapa, "Born Antwain Dean, currently known as Yung Gwapa, or in some circles just plain ‘GWAPA”.  American rapper formerly known as Yung Money Thirst in 2008, which was the starting year of Gwapa’s well endowed music career.

Yung Gwapa was born and raised on Chicago’s troubled Southside “Englewood” area.  Raised by a single mother, he learned early in life that through loyalty, hard work and hustling anything is possible. Gwapa lost his father at the age of 8 and was forced to become the man of the home early in life. Finding a creative outlet thru music, he began relating has everyday environments and lifestyles through his music.  After finishing High School and a host of well paying Jobs, Gwap decided to pursue his dreams in music so he packed up and moved south.  With Gwapa being a visionary he foreseen the growth of the industry in the south.  Which influenced his decision to move there. Gwapa started by establishing Gwap House Music Group LLC in 2010. after parting ways with his first musically home SGE.  After the regional success of his freshman project “Hardest in the Streets" it was clear that a Star was about to shine, and his name was Yung Gwapa.

Gwapa followed up with a host of mixtapes such as "Star Status", " Bubble Guts " hosted by Hood Rich Ent Swamp Izzo, "Gwapa Payton" hosted by UGK`S DJ Big House and the NO DJ tape entitled “Black Boy Rambo.  Gwapa has collaborated with popular artist artist such as, Waka Flocka and Frenchie from BSM, and  Lil Scrappy.  Gwapa has blessed tracks produced by David Blaine, Lex Luger, Mike Da Rockman, Hot Rod, Yung Juve and GwapHouse M.G.`s own in-house producer Kam Killa, producer of Yung Gwapa’s smash club banger “THICK CINDERELLA”.  

It was clear a star had risen, landing showcases at the 2010 SEA Awards and the 2010 Digiwaxx Core DJ`S Retreat in Orlando, FL. Gwapa’s talents have also landed him opportunities to work artist in South Africa, Japan, and Germany.  

The Rising Star Group has came on board to assist Yung Gwapa in taking his brand to another level and increasing his brands visibility online and in other markets his previous marketing teams have not crossed.

Gwapa is currently working on introducing his brand “Blackheart” to the public and the new project ‘Q’, releasing this summer, inspired by the movie Juice, featuring work from A1FB and the new single Hustle-N-Flow. Gwapa's latest song "Bad Habits" featuring popular A1FB rapper, Young Scooter, has been buzzing all over the Internet and blogs.
