New Haunting, Eerie Book Trailer: "Be Still," part 2 created by author's 17 year old son

HESPERIA, Calif. – In Tania L. Ramos’ new fiction novel Be Still (published by iUniverse), one man is caught between life and death, trying to make peace on both sides, before his life ends and time seals all wounds.  

What does that have to do with the author's son? "I work long hours as a recovery room nurse and with cardiac rehabilitation and education, as much as I would love to spend every moment promoting my book, Be Still, I simply can't do it," Ramos states.  With little free time on her hands she incorporated the help of her recent high school graduate, who has created videos for YouTube and is, "very computer savvy."  Last week Dasan S Segura was named as her media manager and given the first task of creating a follow up video to the original book trailer for, "Be Still.  Watch the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BhAezUke7s



    Ramos states that Dasan did have a hand in helping put together the first video.  He has been her go-to-guy for quality and has no problem with telling her, "Mom, that's awful,' if he feels it is bad.  In the first video it was Dasan who blended the background music and ensured the videos hit each pinnacle mark of the music.  In this second video, he mixed and overlaid the videos as well as created the eerie mix of background music and assured Ramos that it would be high quality with the equipment he was given to work with.  In the end, he managed a full length book trailer complete with video effects, overlays, blended music, and in high definition.
    Ramos states she is very proud of the production as has already begun to blast it on Twitter and Facebook, showing off her son's work.  The video has been received well.  Others have asked Ramos to help create their book trailers, and when asked of author Ramos if she will incorporate the assistance of her son in these projects she replied, "Of course.  He has time to do the research and a wonderfully creative imagination, he has also learned how to create voice overs and use chromocolor backdrops, so I know he has much more to work with than I do."
    When asked to think of a name for his rising business, Segura came up with the name, "Xcaliber entertainment and media."  He said the name Xcaliber sounds official and of important status and felt the name was becoming of his new found company, which will offer book trailers on a budget which will target self-published and independent authors such as his mother.
    "This trailer was a freebie for mom, (Ramos), but she'll definitely have to pay for the next one . . . or we could barter, I wouldn't mind a new computer," Segura said.

    The book trailer is up and running on YouTube.
    Xcaliber entertainment and media will also offer: video book reviews, video blogs, author interviews, and spotlight business videos (local for now)

Be Still is available as softback, hardback, and for Nook and Kindle.  Ramos states, "Sales have been going well.  As well as can be expected for a relatively unknown author, but with a new media manager by my side, I expect we will receive more attention now.  And I have high hopes for my son's business venture.  We are a very creative family and work well together."
