MDM - Million Dollar Mattress has reduced mattress prices on the milliondollarmattress.com website.

As the result of a recent market survey of mattress buyers, conducted by the owners of Million Dollar Mattress, several important needs were identified. The major complaints listed were mattress cost, off-gassing of chemicals, comfort, durability and warranty claims.
"These issues are not new to us'", stated store manager Mary Cable. "When we first researched the mattresses we wanted to sell to the public, there were the criteria that drove our purchase decisions", she continued.
"Every mattress sold by MDM is made from American materials, and fabricated in New England, so the off-gassing issue found in imported materials is not an issue. With a wide selection of mattress styles, comfort can be achieved easily. Our manufacturers honor their warranties, and don't try to weasel out of standing behind what they make. We have had only 1 warranty claim come up, and we have had virtually no complaints.
With all that being addressed, the main thing we had to address was the cost.

"The cost of the raw materials that go into a mattress have increased exponentially in the last 18 months. At one point, we had to remove all of the prices form the website, due to the multiple increases in a short time. Costs have stabilized now, and our suppliers have been working with us to help us price our mattresses, without changing the components."
Starting June 1, 2012, MDM- Million Dollar Mattress will be reducing the prices on visco-memory foam and latex mattresses. The new pricing will save the buyer hundreds of dollars on each set. This is not a sale or temporary reduction. There has been no change in the soy based foam, no change in the 100% natural latex, no change in the fabric -non toxic- fire barriers.
"We are pleased to make these changes for our customers", stated Patrick Haase, president of Haase Cable Enterprises, Inc -owner of MDM. " Times are still tough out there, and people need to at least sleep comfortably. We want our clientele to have affordable options and not have to settle for "Big Box" store so-called bargains."
