Innovative Veterans Got Talent Job Fair to be held June 5 at Fort Lee
Veterans and their spouses in the Fort Lee, VA area are invited to attend the annual Veterans Got Talent Fair. This innovative event has all the elements of the traditional job fair with the added advantage of an over-sized game assessment tool.
The Veterans Got Talent job fair, supported by the Army Career and Alumni Program, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 at the Lee Club at Fort Lee.
The job fair will allow veterans to make connections with civilian employers, and participating employers will get to interact with potential candidates in a dynamic, high-energy environment. More than 40 companies are registered to attend the event. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and to bring copies of their resume.
“The upcoming Veterans Got Talent Job Fair on June 5th will give employers in Greater Richmond a unique opportunity to evaluate the tremendous talent of our military service personnel currently transitioning from active duty to civilian employment” said Retired Lieutenant Colonel Angel L. Velez of the U.S. Army.
The following employers are scheduled to attend: Northrop Grumman, Sunoco, Rolls-Royce, Centra Health, Dominion, Cubic, Schwans, Southern States, Target, Waffle House, Universal Health Services, Virginia State Police, Edward Jones, Allen Corporation, Clean Harbors, Rock Tenn, and more!
